Insect Problems -- When insect problems reach economic thresholds and treatment is applied, yield reduction is stopped.
Knowledge-Based Decisions -- Panic situations are avoided, actual counts of pests are known and spray decisions are made on a per field basis not on the situations in surrounding fields.
Specific Treatment -- In some cases, only parts of fields warrant treatment, which saves you money.
Evaluate Product Performance -- Scouting identifies planter defects, hybrid seed performance, germination and emergence problems. Product performance can be evaluated throughout the growing season.
Timely Reporting -- All crop observations are reported on a regular basis, depending on season and scheduled number of scouting trips. This allows you to make timely decisions and use the information to make management decisions for the following year.
Quality -- Our program is constantly checked for quality. Management decisions are made by our agronomists or certified crop advisors (CCA).
Disease Problems -- Asian Rust is the most recent disease to affect soybean production in the United States. Many farmers in the Midwest do not know if the disease will reach a soybean field each year. A grower could save $50 to $150 per acre in reduced fungicide costs. With early detection, a timely fungicide application will protect many bushels per acre.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an intensive management service offered to growers to better identify crop problems. IPM uses timely field scouting along with economic thresholds to determine what problems exist and what economic significance these problems will have on the growing crop. Our quality IPM program allows the client an opportunity to make informed, timely decisions on crop protection which optimizes crop production and quality.
